Most actors if they’re honest with themselves are stuck in a casting director's workshop ideology. This means they are being herded by the machine. While it’s important to have good relationships with casting departments it’s not essential to know them all. And that’s surely no way to stand out. What’s way more important is smart targets. Think of it as a dating app. Most of the people in this industry are swipe left. You know it and I know it. We don’t need to go on a date with everyone. The dates you do choose to go on aren’t all worth a second date either, right? You simply don’t match. Career coaching is about matching you up with the right dream dates. Those are the casting directors, producers, directors and writers that will change your life. The big love.
